LCR FM License Petition to OFCOM – January 2022

Leicester Community Radio is a not for profit registered charity based in Leicester.  Part of our objectives is to provide a much needed information service to the City of Leicester.

Sadly, there are many people who are unable to easily access local services, social groups and sources of information and LCR has a remit to spotlight these services and actively bring them to the attention of those who need them most.

Whilst online services and websites provide a much needed service, the medium of radio is an extra layer and a vital one, which can only be provided by a charitable status radio station.

We would like to enhance our service offering, by providing an easily accessible FM radio service to our users and by signing this petition, we aim to supply OFCOM with the information they need to grant an FM license. Please take a few moments of your time to complete the form below and help LCR to permanently broadcast on FM radio.
